TCI The Community Interpreters – Our oldest program, specializes in providing Personal Interpreting Services for the Deaf AND their families. We’re able to do this via our strong volunteer base of Terp Club Members, Christian Interpreters who desire to “give back” to the Deaf community. We have an organized method of assisting area churches establish “Deaf ministries” that includes providing free community-wide sign language classes. We provide Christian-based Workshops for Interpreters, Interns, and Students that helps the career interpreter obtain the necessary CEUs and support systems needed in assisting them in being the very best they can be.
AHP Anointed Hands-On Programs – The home of DECAF (Deaf Events Community And Family) activities and opportunities. Social and TEAM building experiences to include: etiquette training, crafts, cooking baking and cake decorating, health awareness, prevention, and intervention programs. Annual programs and activities such as: New Year’s Family Day Out, The Resurrection Party, Deaf Family Reunion, “Happy Birthday, Jesus” Party, and so much more.
LAG Look At God – Support Services and Resources for Individuals and Families to include: Grief Support Groups for both Deaf and Hearing, Ex Offender Supports for the Deaf, Facilitated Family Accountability Round Tables, HIV and AIDS Education, Drug Awareness and Abuse, Prevention and Intervention Strategies, Domestic Abuse, Family Issues Series, Parent Involvement Classes, Workshops, and Train the Trainers, etc.
The WiFi Movement starts with WORD Inspired Family Involvement and the The WiFi Pedalers “Mission Possible Tour,” a 2,222 mile cycling trip down the Mississippi River Trail designed to raise Friends & “Fun-ds” in support of Deaf, Family and Church Cultural programming.
