29-30 – WOW!!!!! What a [dare I say it?!] AWESOME event! The 4th Annual 2011 DEAF-initely Hat-itude with Attitude Ladies Tea [and PJ Party!] was a wonderful weekend. True, being the FIRST TIME "off-campus" of Mt. Sinai MBC, there were some procedures that we could improve on, but plans are already being made to implement those changes for NEXT year's TEA.
Over 1000 photos were taken by our photographers at this year's TEA, most of them by Mikel Anderson of Like-M Photography of Winter Park. The photos are being processed as you read this, but you can "sneak-a-peek" at some sample photos by clicking here. Once we get all the thumbnails online, this year you will actually be able to order high-resolution photos on photographic paper of any of your favorite memories. Stay tuned here for more details as these become available.
The High-Energy Fashion Show was a big hit this year, and we are so grateful to the wonderful ladies who contributed their time and talents. [Who was YOUR favorite model??!!] It also seems that EVERYBODY LOVED the escorts....bravo!
There were some GREAT door prizes and fantastic "Not-So-Silent Auction" items worth hundreds of dollars that some ladies won for a CONSIDERABLE discount! Congratulations! Some of these items still need to be picked up, so please make arrangements to get your things as soon as possible [or someone ELSE might get the discount!]. Several wonderful local vendors also displayed their goods and services...remember what the "A" in TEA stands for!
A special thanks as well to the Rosen Centre Hotel.....they really did a wonderful job of seeing to all our needs [and the food and tea were SCRUMPTIOUS!].

NOVEMBER 2011 20 through Saturday, December 3 – The 2011 Mission POSSIBLE Tour....400 miles in NE Florida with stops at Ephphatha Deaf Assemblies of God Church in Jacksonville, Florida, and the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind in St. Augustine, Florida.
